In a collaborative effort, Joanne Flynn, Phoenix Strategic Performance, and Mike Smith, Learning Transfer Solutions, have published their new work, The Multifunctional Approach to HR as a Business Accelerator. With over 35+ years of experience each, working both in HR and with business units, Flynn and Smith reflect on the strategic importance of Human Capital on all levels, together with the role of HR as a business accelerator. From their experiences, they have had a front row seat in the evolving and declining role of HR in organizations globally.

Over the past 35 years, the role of HR has gone from business aligned to operational and compliance focused.
