Hallmark Declares Winners in “My Quirky Valentine” Greeting Card Contest
Kansas City, MO (PRWEB) July 01, 2013 -- Today, Hallmark announces the winners in its recent card-creation contest, “My Quirky Valentine.” Greeting card hopefuls were invited to use original writing and photography to create a valentine card that uses wacky, meme-style humor.
Contestants submitted their creations in late April and May. The six winning entries will be sold on Hallmark.com starting July 1. In-store winners will be announced and featured in most stores that carry the Hallmark brand in January 2014. Winners each receive $250 and could win an additional $250 if their cards are chosen for in-store sales.
Hallmark judges looked for cards with photography and writing that worked well together and featured quirky or random humor. Participants could enter a total of two cards, one in the love category and one in the friendship category. Entrants were encouraged to check out the Hallmark Contest Facebook page for tips on this contest.
This is Hallmark’s 44th consumer-created card contest. The six winners are from four U.S. states and Canada. One participant won for two entries. Here are the winners in Hallmark’s “My Quirky Valentine” competition:
