Hatton Garden Refinery is now pleased to announce the resumption of their cash for gold service. This service has proven very popular with their customers in the past, who have been able to use the online gold pricing calculator to determine just how much money they will get in exchange for their scrap gold, before sending it into the refinery to claim the cash value.

The process for using the Hatton Garden Refinery online gold exchange service was demonstrated to gold and silver dealers and members of the general public at a recent precious metals tradeshow. At the tradeshow, the team from the refinery took to the stage in the post lunch afternoon session to showcase their online gold pricing calculator to those in the hushed conference hall.

When speaking to those in attendance it was noted that the presentation was well received. “I’ve been buying and selling small amounts of gold and silver for years but have only recently started coming to these conferences and tradeshows,” reported Bernie, a retired oil worker who was in attendance. “Previously I’d track down scrap gold and then sell it in person to the dealers, but this online gold buying service will save me a lot of time and effort,” he continued.

During the demonstration of the website, the staff from Hatton Garden Refinery sought out a willing volunteer from the crowd who was watching their presentation and was in possession of some scrap gold. The team then weighed the gold and entered the weight and the carat into the online calculator, which then revealed the gold price the owner could expect to receive if they chose to sell the metal. The crowd, and most importantly the volunteer, seemed happy with the price that was displayed.

While the volunteer returned back to his seat, scrap gold in hand, the website team then explained how the rest of the gold buying and selling process works. They revealed how the exchange involves the buyer requesting a free gold pack, which includes an insured pre-paid return envelope into which the scrap gold is placed, to be sent to the Hatton Garden Refinery. The demonstrators then explained how that upon receipt of the gold, the shipment will be assessed and the seller contacted to confirm the value, with the money arriving in their account within two hours.

At the end of the presentation, the team from the refinery fielded questions from the audience and then concluded the session. The general response from the audience appeared to be positive and when talking to those in attendance most seemed to be glad to have learned about this service and were reportedly interested in using it the next time they had scrap gold to sell. “This online cash for scrap gold service looks like it will be a real time saver,” said one of the visitors to the conference. “Providing the package arrives in time, it shouldn’t take much longer than doing the deal in person at a store,” he concluded.

As interested in precious metals continues to grow, online services that make buying and selling these materials easier, are sure to find an expanding customer base.

The appeal of the pricing calculator is that those with scrap gold to sell can get a price estimate from the comfort of their own home without having to take the trip to the refinery in Hatton Garden. Then after getting their quote, the seller can then choose to send in their scrap gold, with the payment being sent out immediately to the seller on the arrival of the gold.
