HearFromMe.com Announces Sponsorship Of Operation Gratitude
Maitland, FL (PRWEB) May 06, 2014 -- HearFromMe, Inc., developers of HearFromMe.com, has announced that they are now a corporate sponsor of Operation Gratitude.
Operation Gratitude is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that assembles and sends care packages to our troops overseas as well as to veterans, wounded warriors, families of deployed military personnel, recruits and first responders. Operation Gratitude sends an average of 150,000 care packages per year and surpassed the 1 million mark, last December.
HearFromMe will be donating a total of 100,000 of their Digital Time Capsules to Operation Gratitude for inclusion in their care packages over the course of the next year. The entire donation has a retail value of $3,000,000. By becoming a corporate sponsor, HearFromMe joins other well-known companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Target, Hallmark Cards, and Disney, to name a few.
“From day one of HearFromMe, we wanted to be able to do something for our troops. By joining with Operation Gratitude, we are able to that.” said Wayne Bannatyne, Vice President of HearFromMe.
Along with the Digital Time Capsules that are included in the care packages, HearFromMe has also created a program that will contribute a portion of sales back to Operation Gratitude. When buyers of HearFromMe use the specific promo code “carepackage”, they will receive a 15% discount and Operation Gratitude will receive 25% of the proceeds to help pay for the care packages that they send.
Wayne Bannatyne also went on to say, “We see it as a win-win-win. Our brave service members get a Digital Time Capsule so that they can be there for any occasion, no matter the circumstance, our customer gets a discount, and Operation Gratitude receives money to help pay for the packages that they send.”
