Author Helen O. Bigelow to Give e-books to Lucky Readers
North Branch, MI (PRWEB) October 28, 2013 -- Helen O. Bigelow may have been inspired to write "Coffee Grounds and Potato Peeling Pancakes: The Garbage We Ate to Live" (published by AuthorHouse) from history’s stories of war and survival, yet her inspiration behind the marketing of her book is all modern.
Bigelow is participating in her publisher’s BookStubs program, an exciting program that allows free e-books to be downloaded by readers. Bigelow will be offering 60 BookStubs of her book "Coffee Grounds and Potato Peeling Pancakes" and will distribute them to readers of her choice.
"This is a collection of experiences telling how each supplemented their meager food in their own clever ways to keep from starving," explains Bigelow about her book. "Fear of the concentration camps made them do desperate acts to avoid contact with the enemy." Each story is also accompanied by photographs of the survivors and the conditions inside the camps.
