Soundshack Records Announces Hip Hop on the Water 2014
Seattle, WA (PRWEB) August 05, 2014 -- Sound Shack Records, an independent record label, is pleased to announce the 2014 Hip Hop on the Water event taking place in Seattle, WA on Friday August 22nd from 9pm to 1am aboard the Islander Champagne cruises. The third annual Hip Hop on the Water is a 3-4 hour cruise with beautiful views of the Seattle skyline and will feature Seattle’s hottest new hip hop artists, breakdancers, DJs and a fashion show.
Hip Hop on the Water was started as a platform for new Seattle hip hop artists to showcase their talent and as a way to raise funds for Crooked Trails, a local nonprofit supporting the value of cultural connections around the world.
Artists performing this year include:
West Coast legendary Producer Vitamin D- Kung Foo Grip-Talkative-Kidd Karma-Retro-Rocky Glover-Jersey Brown & Dynasty Clique and many more

Hip Hop on the Water is a simple and unique concept that creates a fun and memorable summer event for youth, while allowing local independent Hip Hop performers the opportunity to show their craft to a wider and more knowledgeable audience. After a packed boat on the first year, Hip Hop on the Water doubled its capacity the following 2 years. The Event hopes to continue this growth over the next few years and to eventually take the festival to the shores of Lake Union and boast the largest, local Hip Hop Festival on the West Coast.
