OnlineJobs.ph Announces ID Trust: Bringing Trust to the Filipino Virtual Assistant Marketplace
Salt Lake City, Utah (PRWEB) July 17, 2013 -- With over 70,000 resumes to choose from, OnlineJobs.ph is one of the largest databases of Filipino virtual assistants and online professionals. After years of recruiting and filtering through these thousands of worker profiles, OnlineJobs.ph developed some strong signals of what a trusted profile looks like verses what an unreliable profile looks like.
In efforts to make hiring a virtual assistant from the Philippines an easier process, they created a system called ID Trust. Now, when browsing through the many profiles, employers can view a jobseeker’s “ID Trust score.”
The score is calculated on a scale of 0-100, with 100 meaning, "We really believe this person is who they say they are." It is based on signals that have been put into and calculated by a computer based algorithm.
Creators of ID Trust realize that some signals of untrustworthy profiles are complex and difficult to put into a computer based algorithm. However, they have created one that they believe produces very accurate results.
"The system has been through many revisions of the algorithm and will continue to undergo many changes. It's not perfect. However, we rarely see it incorrect on the high or low end," remarks John Jonas, founder of OnlineJobs.ph.
OnlineJobs.ph also emphasizes that ID Trust is not a measure of skill. It does not measure how much experience, how highly rated, or how good of a worker someone will be. It simply tells an employer which profiles are reliable.
"Our goal is to make hiring easier by helping employers find the most trustworthy Filipino workers out there," says Jonas.
