Hispanic 100, Orange County’s premier Hispanic leadership, advocacy and education organization, will host the Fourth Annual Lifetime Achievement Award Gala on Friday, September 27, 2013 at 7:00 with the general reception and registration beginning at 6:00 p.m. The black tie affair will take place in Newport Beach at The Island Hotel, located at 690 Newport Center Drive. During the event, Monica Lozano, Chief Executive Officer of ImpreMedia and Publisher of La Opinión, will be presented with the 2013 Lifetime Achievement Award.
The annual gala is a tradition and celebration established by Hispanic 100 as a way to recognize and honor accomplishments made by renowned Hispanic individuals including celebrities, civic leaders, businessmen and philanthropists. Honorees are celebrated for their social, economic and philanthropic contributions made to preserve and commemorate the Hispanic community.
“Each year we honor an individual in our community who is a strong leader and admirable role model for our youth, as well as one who stands with our organization as a voice for the U.S. Hispanic community,” said Mario Rodriguez, chairman of Hispanic 100. “Ms. Lozano is a true leader in the Hispanic community and continues to raise the bar with her philanthropic, political and business contributions.”
Proceeds from the Lifetime Achievement Award Gala contribute to a variety of components essential to the organization including: maintaining Hispanic 100’s Mentor Program; hosting informational and motivational events; promoting and shaping future Hispanic forerunners in an effort to allow Hispanic personalities to leave a footprint within their communities; and increasing awareness among the Hispanic population in ways in which they can create and implement positive change and influence within communal boundaries.
Previous Lifetime Achievement Award honorees include Entertainment Legend Vikki Carr, Actor Tony Plana and “Actorvist” Esai Morales.
Individual tickets for the event can be purchased for $300 per person.
