Augusta, GA (PRWEB) November 19, 2013 -- GSP, LLC recently passed the National Association of State Contractors Licensing Agencies Accrediting Examination.
The exam was developed by PSI Services, LLC using contractors from multiple jurisdictions across the United States and based on a national job occupational analysis. It is used by state contractor licensing agencies to test commercial general building contractor candidates who are applying for a contractor license. The exam is designed to reduce redundant licensing requirements and assist contractors who need to be licensed in multiple jurisdictions. All candidates passing the exam are then entered into the NASCLA National Examination Database. The first exam was administered on Sept. 8, 2009 in Alabama, which was also the first state to accept it. Currently, the exam is accepted by the states of Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and West Virginia, as well as the U.S. Virgin Islands. State agencies that accept the NASCLA Accredited Examination allow the use of a NASCLA Accredited Examination passing score in place of the respective state agency’s trade examination.
