HomeValue.us.org is set to increase their server capacity as the biggest home buying season of the year commences, the company said yesterday.
“Spring is the single biggest season in the real estate industry,” a HomeValue.us.org spokesman said. “It's when people start coming out of their nests and looking at properties. That is going to lead to an increased demand for public real estate reports, and we want to be able to handle it. Therefore, we've directed our techs to increase server capacity to make sure our system can handle it.”
HomeValue.us.org has been doing tests on the new server to make sure it can handle any level of demand.
“At this point, we've made sure that it can handle three times as many requests for information as we usually get at any given time,” he said. “It has held up during those tests without slowing down search services or going down. That gives us confidence that we can deal with whatever level of demand we end up facing.”
HomeValue.us.org expects this spring to see the biggest demand for real estate reports in the company's history, he said
“Last year at this time, the housing market was just starting to come back,” he said. “But now real estate is hot. People have more consumer confidence this year, so many more people will be looking at real estate either as a home or as an investment. We need to be ready for that.”
