Jill K. Yaranon’s life with horses and the interesting people who ride them inspired her to write “Hot Trail,” (published by Xlibris) a Western fictional novel about a passionate horsewoman whose determination to follow her dreams sometimes to gets her into trouble.
This story follows the character of Sylver Sullivan as she reinvents her life after her husband dies and leaves her financially desperate. When she innocently tries to find her friend’s missing horse, she gets caught in a web of cartel treachery which threatens both her life and the horse she loves.
“Readers who like a strong passionate woman who fights for what is right and who enjoy reading about the networking of small town ranch life will enjoy this book,” says Yaranon. “This story will tell you to live your dream, ride your trail and do not wait for somebody else to solve problems for you. Oh, and have a great horse and friends to help you.”
An old-fashioned Western fiction with a modern twist, “Hot Trail” reflects the story of a horsewoman as she rides the rocky trail of life, fighting to hold on to her ranch, her horses and the Cool country life she truly loves.
