IMA Names Leonard Fox Vice President of Operations

Fox will lead operations of six IMA plants throughout the U.S.

Leonard Fox named vice president of Operations for Integrated Manufacturing and Assembly (IMA), a joint venture between Comer Holdings LLC and Lear Corporation supplying automotive seating systems

Effective February 1, 2016, Leonard Fox has been named vice president of operations for Integrated Manufacturing & Assembly, a leading automotive seating systems supplier. IMA has six manufacturing locations throughout the U.S. In this position, Fox will be responsible for overall successful operations of all IMA plants.

“Leonard Fox is an accomplished and trusted leader with a solid track record in establishing manufacturing and quality strategies, just-in-time operations, sub-assembly, process control and lean manufacturing principles,” said Jim Comer, president and CEO, Comer Holdings LLC. “This experience combined with his pursuit of continuous improvement is of great benefit to IMA, our customers, our employees and our supply chain.”

Fox brings nearly 20 years of plant management and operations experience. Fox began his career with Lear Corporation where he held a variety of positions with increasing responsibility. He joined IMA in 2011 and has consistently delivered accelerated growth and increased efficiencies for the joint venture under his leadership.

Fox earned a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership from Indiana University - Purdue University Fort Wayne.
