Three Executives from IT Solutions Provider Edge Solutions Named to CRN’s Women of the Channel Power 50 Solution Providers
Alpharetta, GA (PRWEB) June 02, 2014 -- Edge Solutions, a leading IT solutions provider, today announced that three of the company’s executives, Julie Haley, J. Susan Ahmed and Kristen Beatty have been named to the CRN 2014 Women of the Channel list, and the company has been recognized as one of this year’s inaugural Power 50 Solution Providers. The annual Women of the Channel list highlights the accomplishments of female executives within vendor, distribution, and solution provider organizations, and the impact they are having on the advancement of the IT channel. The Power 50 honors an elite subset of female executives at solution provider organizations who are extending their respective company's sphere of influence as trusted advisers.
Julie Haley, CEO, has been named to the Women of the Channel list for five consecutive years. Ms. Haley is the leading force behind the positive and diverse culture that has driven the incremental year-over-year growth of the company.
J. Susan Ahmed, vice president of services, drives the fastest growing business segment at Edge Solutions. Ms. Ahmed’s expertise in developing the right portfolio of services to offer to a vast array of customer needs will result in services being one-third of the company’s revenue this year.
Kristen Beatty, vice president of marketing, works collaboratively to advance the company’s strategy through innovative demand generation and customer retention campaigns. Ms. Beatty continues to increase Edge Solutions’ online presence and social media strategy to further the company’s brand and earn new business.
“We are seeing a steady increase in the number of female executives making their mark in the solution provider community,” said Robert Faletra, CEO, The Channel Company. “The new Power 50 list shines a spotlight on both their contributions as individuals and the importance of the solution provider role in the success of their clients. We congratulate the Women of the Channel, and look forward to their continued success.”
“We are honored to be named on the first Power 50 Solution Provider list with three of our executive team named as Women of the Channel this year,” stated Michael Haley, president of Edge Solutions. “We are deliberate in our diversity strategy and it’s by design that over 50 percent of our team is made up of women and minorities. We value the creativity, energy, innovation and drive that a diverse work force brings to our organization, which we believe results in the best level of service and solutions for our clients.”
