Intermedix Announces Release of WebEOC Air & Cruise Module
Fort Lauderdale, Fla. (PRWEB) July 07, 2015 -- Intermedix announced Tuesday the release of WebEOC Air & Cruise, a module of WebEOC created to fit the unique needs of the travel industry.
A web-based situational awareness software, WebEOC was originally created for public safety officials and has evolved to incorporate business resiliency for companies in a number of different sectors, including airlines and cruise lines.
WebEOC is already used by three of the largest cruise lines worldwide, six international carriers and three of the top four largest airlines in the United States, including Delta Air Lines.
“WebEOC has become an essential tool in our incident preparation, response activities, response to incidents and deploying family assistance,” said Jana Thomas, emergency operations manager at Delta Air Lines. “The release of the Air & Cruise module will allow us to be able to better deploy our employees to assist families and/or the investigation during an incident and have better reporting capability.”
The Air & Cruise module was completely redesigned for ease of use and custom application to the travel industry. Innovative features allow users to build common display views, rely on standard reports and deploy entire teams of employees.
“Intermedix solutions have continued to evolve over the years,” said Intermedix CEO Joel Portice. “It has become clear that there is a strong need in the marketplace for technology that allows organizations to ensure resilience and business continuity. The Air & Cruise module is proof of our continuous commitment to these organizations.”
Current users have immediate access to the new module.
