InventHelp Inventor Develops Potato-Peeling Aid (TOR-9143)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) September 13, 2014 -- "Everyone dreads potato peeling," said an inventor from Burlington, Ontario, Canada. "It is time-consuming, dreary and dangerous, if done in a hurry. I disliked peeling potatoes, so I came up with a tool that makes the hassle of potato peeling fast, safe and effortless."
He created a prototype for the SPUD-BUD to enable a consumer to peel potatoes in a safe, time-saving and simplified manner. The unit holds the potato securely for ease of peeling. This minimizes the risk of injury. The tool saves a great deal of time and effort by eliminating the normal hassles involved. It also is usable to peel other fruits and vegetables. In addition, the invention is ideal for elderly, arthritic and disabled individuals.
The original design was submitted to the Toronto office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
