InventHelp is working to submit this idea, the ACCORDIAN, to companies for their consideration and potential feedback.

A common problem experienced by homeowners, contractors and laborers alike is the accidentally broken sprinkler line. Thanks, however, to the creativity of an inventor from Burbank, Calif., there is now an easy fix.

He developed a prototype for the patent-pending ACCORDIAN to eliminate the need to replace the entire sprinkler system when the lines break. As such, it saves time, effort and money. Furthermore, it is easy to manipulate with the fingers. At the same time, it is convenient, lightweight, compact and affordably priced. Also, its simple design minimizes production costs. In addition, it is durable for years of effective use.

The inventor’s work experience inspired the idea. “While working in construction for many years, I often needed to repair accidentally broken sprinkler lines,” he said “To speed up the repair process, I needed to eliminate the guesswork in determining the size of the replacement piece.”

The original design was submitted to the Los Angeles office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
