Automotive Safety Feature Invented for Measuring Blood Alcohol Content - Designed by InventHelp Client (TOR-9675)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) April 14, 2017 -- While breathalyzer tests have long been effective in determining blood alcohol content (BAC) particularly for drivers, they are usually performed after an accident. Thanks to the creativity of young inventors from Mississauga, Ontario, however, drivers can now be proactive and measure their own alcohol level before they get behind the wheel and cause an accident.
They developed the patent-pending ALCOHOL SENSORY KEY (ASK) to provide an accurate blood alcohol content (BAC) measurement for any driver. As such, it improves highway safety by keeping drunk drivers off the road. In other words, it saves lives and reduces injuries and property damage by preventing car crashes caused by drunk drivers. Thus, it reduces the number of police and automobile insurance reports filed. Also important, it helps users avoid being cited and penalized for driving under the influence. At the same time, it is convenient, effective and affordably priced. This invention is also lightweight, portable and easy to use. In addition, it can be used in any type of motor vehicle.
The inventors’ personal observations inspired the idea. “After becoming aware of too many deaths from motor vehicle accidents involving drunk drivers, we decided to find a way to change those troubling statistics by keeping people who have been drinking from taking the wheel,” one of them said.
