InventHelp, founded in 1984 in Pittsburgh, is submitting the ASSISTA LIFT to companies for their possible feedback.

“My mother is disabled and I thought there needed to be a safer way to reposition and move her,” said an inventor, from Huntsville, Texas, “so I invented the ASSISTA LIFT.”

The patent-pending ASSISTA LIFT provides a more effective way to lift and move a patient. In doing so, it offers an alternative to standard methods of elevating. As a result, it enhances comfort and safety and it could help to reduce the risk of injury. The invention features an effective design that is convenient and easy to use so it is ideal for hospitals and caregivers. Additionally, the ASSISTA LIFT is producible in design variations.

The inventor described the invention design. “My design helps to prevent injuries when lifting and moving a disabled or elderly person.”

The original design was submitted to the Houston office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
