Indicator for Worn Out Brakes Invented by InventHelp Client (SAH-659)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) November 15, 2014 -- Whether the individual is the auto mechanic for their car or they take it to a service station for repairs and maintenance, worn out brakes can be costly and difficult to monitor. Fortunately, an inventor from Stockton, Calif., has discovered a way to assure timely and inexpensive brake pad replacement.
He developed COLOR STOP to extend the life of brake rotors. As such, it prevents damage to brake rotors from the brake wear bar. Moreover, it eases the process of changing automobile brake pads. At the same time it improves safety on the road by guarding against worn out brakes. In fact, it is designed to warn the driver about thin brake pads, thus avoiding the expense of repairing or replacing damaged rotors. In addition, it eliminates the need to remove the wheel to check whether brake pads need replaced.
The inventor's personal experience inspired the idea. "I wanted to help prevent brake rotor damage due to the metal sensor," he said. "This model will not only save time and money, but will also keep drivers safe."
The original design was submitted to the Sacramento office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
