An inventor from Arvada, Colorado wanted a way to prevent heat-related deaths that often occur in the summer from babies and toddlers being left in hot vehicles. As such, he invented the Baby Alert for use in vehicles.
The Baby Alert provides parents with peace of mind that they will not accidentally leave a baby or toddler in a vehicle. It operates automatically using modern electronic technology. It is also inexpensive and easy to install in any vehicle.
The inventor was inspired by seeing heat-related vehicle deaths in the news. "I knew that every year in the summer, there are many tragedies involving children being left in hot cars," said the inventor. "I knew there had to be a way to alert parents to not to forget a child in the back seat."
The original design was submitted to the Denver office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
