An inventor from Somerville, Mass., wants to offer people a new way to carry items that they'd normally carry in a backpack. "I saw a need for a better way to carry things backpack-style," she said.

The patent-pending Back "Pak" EXTREME provides an alternative way to carry items backpack-style. It also distributes weight better, which avoids back strain. Overall, it enhances the user’s style. Ergonomic, easy to use and producible in design variations, it's suitable for male and female users of all ages.

The original design was submitted to the Boston office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
