InventHelp Inventor Develops Stain-Stopping Grilling Accessory (OCM-988)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) October 24, 2015 -- "I love grilling outdoors, but if grease or sauces drip onto the deck area, they can leave permanent stains that never fully go away," said an inventor from Signal Hill, Calif. "In order to avoid these unsightly stains, I came up with a mat that catches any drips so that they do not ruin the surface on which the grill is placed."
He developed the patented BAR-B-KETCH'R to catch drips and splatters while grilling outdoors. The unit prevents grease, sauces, marinades, food drippings and charcoal from staining the surface beneath the grill. This ensures that the deck, patio, poolside, etc. remains looking clean and well cared for. Additionally, the accessory minimizes cleanup time and also helps prevent fires.
The invention is a rust-proof, steel mat with non-stick coating has four sidewalls to trap grease. The sidewalls would be tapered to avoid tripping and also produce a flush look with the floor or ground. For use, a person would place the mat on the ground, and then simply roll the grill on top. With this sturdy, fire-resistant mat, the underlying surface would be effectively protected from a wide variety of stains.
