Inventor and InventHelp Client Develops Aviation Landing-Gear Improvement (BRK-1082)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) October 12, 2015 -- "Each tire on an aircraft costs almost $2,000. Landings are particularly rough on tires and put a lot of wear and tear on them," said an inventor from Jacksonville, Ala. "In order to save money and prolong the life of tires, I came up with this idea."
He developed the patent-pending BARK AWAY to ensure that the landing gear wheels are moving at a rapid speed prior to contacting the ground during the final approach to the runway. This reduces wear and tear on tires, which lessens the frequency with which tires must be replaced. It also makes for a smoother transition when landing. Additionally, the system provides the pilot with greater control upon contact with the ground, which is designed for enhanced safety.
The original design was submitted to the Birmingham office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
