It’s pretty safe to assume that the average household uses numerous battery-operated devices and that replacing batteries is inevitable to keep them running. Fortunately, an inventor from Wichita, Kan., has found a way to ease the task of removing those dead batteries.
She developed a prototype for BATTERY OUT to provide a faster and easier way to remove batteries than other options. Since it is so convenient and easy to operate with minimal effort, it is particularly helpful for those with limited dexterity. Furthermore, it reduces the chances of damage from battery acid leakage. At the same time, it eliminates the frustration often associated with removing batteries. It is also timesaving, ergonomic and affordably priced. In addition, it is versatile for use with button cell, AA, AAA and 9-volt batteries.
The inventor’s frustration with difficult battery removal inspired the idea. “I decided to pursue this idea to simplify the process of extracting a number of different types of batteries with little effort,” she said. The idea is patent pending.
