Safety Apparel for Construction Workers Invented by InventHelp Client (WGH-4342)
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) March 03, 2014 -- While construction contractors continue to prioritize job safety, circumstances beyond their control sometimes result in injury or death to workers. Fortunately, an inventor from Johnstown, Pa., has found a way to help.
He developed the BE SEEN HARD HAT to create a safer work environment for those who wear hard hats or for bicyclists. The invention prevents accidental deaths and injuries. As such, it allows workers to be seen from any direction in the dark or in areas of low visibility. It also helps co-workers locate their fellow workers.
Furthermore, it gives first responders a quick way to find injured parties and keeps those who work alone from being isolated and forgotten. In addition, it is ideal for use with new and existing hard hats and is easy to use, maintain and store.
The inventor's work experience inspired the idea. "At work one of my responsibilities is to provide employees with information on work safety violations and their consequences. I thought this would be a good way to improve safety conditions for laborers who work in mines, on road crews or at construction sites."
The original design was submitted to the Pittsburgh office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
