Inventor and InventHelp Client Designs Supplemental Handlebars for Road Bicycles (HTM-1006)
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) August 29, 2014 -- “I love riding my bicycle but I hated the strain on my back from constantly leaning forward,” said an inventor, from Portland, Ore. “I thought it would be more comfortable to ride sitting upright, so I invented this.”
He invented the BACK UP BARZ, a pair of supplemental handlebars for road bicycles. This patented invention enhances comfort and safety because it allows a road cyclist to ride while sitting in a more upright position.
As a result, it eliminates the need for a cyclist to constantly ride in a low, forward or bent-over position, which could help to reduce stress and strain on the back. The BACK UP BARZ is easy to install and use so it is ideal for bicycling enthusiasts. Additionally, it is producible in design variations and a prototype is available.
The inventor described the invention design. “My design enhances comfort because it allows a cyclist to enjoy different riding positions.”
The original design was submitted to the Houston office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
