Pittsburgh-based InventHelp attempts to submit an invention, Breast Imaging Table, to companies for review.

“I was unhappy with the current devices used to screen for breast cancer,” said an inventor, from Hopkins, S.C. “I thought there had to be a more comfortable way, so I invented the Breast Imaging Table.”

The Breast Imaging Table provides a more comfortable way to screen for breast cancer. In doing so, it offers an improved alternative to conventional mammography machines. As a result, it enhances comfort and it helps to reduce pain and discomfort. It also is designed to accommodate plus-sized women as well as women confined to wheelchairs. The invention features a user-friendly design that is easy to use so it is ideal for medical facilities. Additionally, the Breast Imaging Table is producible in design variations.

The inventor described the invention design. “My design helps to reduce the discomfort associated with traditional mammograms.”
