InventHelp Inventor Develops Extension-Ladder Stabilizer (PND-4284)
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) February 25, 2014 -- Going up a tall ladder can be scary and dangerous business, especially if the ladder is set up on uneven terrain or it is a windy day. Normally, you have someone down on the ground holding the ladder, but this is not always possible, which is why an inventor from Barnegat, N.J., developed A SURE GRIP.
The device prevents an extension ladder from shifting while leaned against a gutter. This reduces the risk of slips and falls, which is designed to enhance personal safety. The unit eliminates the need to have someone else hold the ladder. Additionally, the invention is adaptable for use with any extension ladder, and it is easy to use.
The inventor's personal experience inspired the idea. "I knew that there had to be a better way to keep an extension ladder stabilized while it was leaned against a gutter," he said. "Rather than having someone on the ground holding it, I thought it would be more convenient to secure it this way."
The original design was submitted to the Philadelphia office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
