InventHelp® Client Develops Improved Seatbelt Restraint System for Children (BTM-2317)
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) November 03, 2016 -- "My 5-year-old son is big for his age, and I could not find a safe seatbelt restraint system that fit him. He was too large for a child seat," said an inventor from Philadelphia, Pa. "A booster seat would have positioned the shoulder belt dangerously across his neck. I came up with this restraint system as a safer alternative."
He developed the patent-pending Car Seatbelt Harness for Kids Using Latch System to function as an efficient seatbelt restraint system for children ages 5 to 12 years old (under 65 pounds). The system distributes the force of any impact equally throughout the body. It eliminates the need to position the child in car seat or booster seat. The harness is designed to minimize the risk of injury in the event of a collision. All of this provides added peace of mind. Additionally, the invention features a compact, easily portable design that is simple to use.
The original design was submitted to the Baltimore office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
