InventHelp Client's Invention Improves Process for Weaning Calves (POO-253)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) April 13, 2017 -- Until now, there has been no way for cattle ranchers to prevent calves from losing weight during weaning. However, thanks to the creativity of two inventors from Willamina, Ore., that is no longer the case.
They developed the patent-pending CATTLE WEANING DEVICE to provide a quick and easy way to wean a calf from its mother and avoid the weight loss usually experienced by the calf during the process. As such, it saves time, effort and expense, since it operates automatically. At the same time, it reduces stress for the calves and their mothers.
Furthermore, it is convenient, effective and inexpensive. Other appealing features are its ease of use, reliability and low maintenance. In addition, this invention is lightweight, safe and comfortable for both the calf and its mother.
The inventors’ work experience inspired the idea. “We were dissatisfied with the conventional method of weaning calves since it causes them to lose weight. Since this wastes time, we decided to pursue an idea that would save time by helping the calves maintain their weight,” one of them said.
The original design was submitted to the Portland office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
