When trying to secure a bolt through a surface and through a nut, it can be a hassle to try to hold the nut in place. This requires an extra wrench or ratchet and makes for a two-hand job. To make this process less of a hassle, a professional mechanic from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, has developed the COLLAPSIBLE CRADLE. This design eliminates the need for the user to hold the nut in place while securing the bolt, which minimizes the amount of tools needed to complete the job.

Designed to simplify the process, saving the user time and effort, it prevents the nut from slipping out of place or out of the user's hand. The invention also provides for a secure fit that prevents movement and is easy and convenient to use.

"I was inspired to develop my idea because I'm a professional mechanic and I see a great need for this product," explained the inventor as to what sparked the design. "My idea eliminates the need to hold the nut in place while tightening the bolt, saving both time and effort for mechanics and other professionals."

The original design was submitted to the Toronto office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
