Extension Cord Repair Accessory Invented by InventHelp Client (HUN-245)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) December 20, 2016 -- The National Electrical Code (NEC) requires that damaged electrical cords be replaced, as opposed to splicing and repairing the cord in question. This can become costly, as cords can typically range between $40.00 and $100.00.
In an effort to resolve this problem, an inventor from Missouri City, Texas, has invented CORD SAVR, a repair fitting for extension cords that eliminates the need to replace them. "I was inspired to invent this item through my line of work," said the inventor. "After needing to replace three cords in one week, I decided to invent something that would repair them instead."
Usable on all gauges of commercial/industrial extension cords, the invention is a safe alternative to traditional splicing methods, and is study and resistant to damage. It can be repurposed for use on most outdoor cords as well.
The original design was submitted to the Houston office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
