InventHelp Invention Improves ATV Tires with Eco-Friendly Traction (BSJ-351)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) July 30, 2016 -- While ATVs provide a source of entertainment as well as a way to access off-road locations for work-related activities, their tires do not always meet the challenge of the terrain they travel. Thanks to the creativity of an inventor from Challis, Idaho; however, ATVS can have better traction and a more positive impact on the environment.
He developed the patent-pending COVER TRACKS to provide improved traction for ATVs like 4-wheelers, motorcycles and side-by-sides. With this idea, ATV tires have a much better grip on the soil. At the same time, it provides enhanced stability for greater safety. As such, it has the potential to reduce the number of ATV accidents that cause death and injuries. What’s more, it allows hunters to avoid leaving tire tracks on the trails. Instead, it preserves the environment by replacing tire tracks with animal footprints. It also adds elements of humor and fun to trail riding.
The inventor’s work experience inspired the idea. “As an outfitter, I use all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) for transportation and need more traction than the conventional ATV tires afford. Incorporating animal track-shaped treads into the tires would prevent sliding and leaving tire tracks,” he said.
The original design was submitted to the Boise office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
