"I thought that there had to be a better way to go about cutting off the heads of crayfish used for bait," said an inventor from South Fork, Pa. "Using a knife can be dangers because if the blade slips, you might cut your hand. My tool eliminates this possibility and cuts heads off cleanly."
He created a prototype for the patent-pending CRAY KNIPPER KIT to provide a quick and easy way to cut the heads off crayfish for use as bait. The design eliminates the need to use a knife to cut the heads off. The tool safeguards the user against potential injuries. It features efficient operation so that the heads are cut off cleanly. Also, it avoids tearing of crayfish bladders so that the crayfish aren’t killed The unit is designed to be compact and easily portable. Additionally, the accessory saves time and effort, and eliminates hassles and frustrations. It's also producible in a deluxe model and a version with curved blades for softshells.
