InventHelp® Client Develops Curling-Iron Holder (CLC-5041)
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) September 14, 2014 -- "Curling irons and flat irons can be dangerous if they are not stored properly," said an inventor from Bay Village, Ohio. "I once burned my mother's countertop when I left a hot iron on it. Also, I am a reporter, so I am always on the go. It can take 15 to 30 minutes for a hot iron to cool down enough to be packed up and taken along with me. I do not have this much time to waste. For these reasons, I came up with this heat-resistant holder."
She developed a prototype for the CURLING IRON ARMOR to offer a safe and convenient means of storing and using a hot curling iron or flat iron. The unit prevents the hot iron from scorching countertops in order to enhance safety by reducing fire hazards. It also ends the need to store a hot iron on a countertop where it can mar the surface. It keeps a hot iron from rolling off a countertop and falling to the floor, where it can burn or melt carpeting. The device provides added peace of mind. The accessory ends the need to wait for the iron to cool before packing it up for transport. Additionally, it is designed to appeal to on-the-go individuals. The invention is patent-pending.
The original design was submitted to the Cleveland office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
