"I like to play darts but it’s a hassle to retrieve darts that have missed or fallen from the dartboard," said an inventor from La Miranda, Calif. "In order to solve this problem, I conceived of a user-friendly, helpful solution."

He then created a prototype of the DART BOARD BUDDY, an accessory that provides a more convenient way to play darts. It eliminates the need to retrieve fallen darts, as well as prevents darts from becoming blunted or damaged. It also allows for easy storage of components. The accessory is ideal for home use, bars, taverns, recreation centers, hotels and motels.

The original design was submitted to the Orange County office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
