InventHelp, a leading inventor service company, announces that one of its clients, an inventor from Indiana, has designed an accessory to protect user’s clothing while having their hair washed or dyed. This invention is patented and a prototype is available.
Many people enjoy going to a salon to get their hair cut, dyed or styled, but it can be frustrating when water or other liquids accidentally run down one’s back. The “Design Shield Cape” would keep both water and chemicals off of the client, ensuring that the individual remains clean and dry. Helping to keep everything sanitary, safe and clean, the invention offers added peace of mind to the client and hairstylist.
The shampoo cape would be made of water-repellant fabric and would feature a detachable shield. The shield would be removed after shampooing to keep the client dry, and would act as a guard inside the sink to catch any errant water or chemicals. The shield could be sold as a separate item that would attach easily onto an existing cape via hook-and-loop fasteners. Produced in many different colors and patterns, this product would be convenient for beauty salons, schools and even nursing home facilities.
“As a hairstylist, I saw a need for an invention like this in my profession,” said the inventor. “It provides a convenient way to keep a client dry and sanitary while having their hair washed or dyed.”
InventHelp is attempting to submit the invention to companies for review. If substantial interest is expressed, the company will attempt to negotiate for a sale or royalties for the inventor. For more information, telephone Dept. 12-INY-930 at (800) 851-6030.
