When picking up his dog’s solid waste up from the ground one day an inventor from Dania Beach, Fla., got some on his hands. "Disgusted, I decided to design an easier and more sanitary way of doing this," he said.

To meet this need, he created a prototype of the Doggy Potty, which provides an easier, more sanitary way to clean up a dog’s solid waste. This avoids direct contact with the waste, preventing disgust and the spread of germs. The device is producible in design variations and can be used for other dogs.

The original design was submitted to the Hollywood office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
