Improved Swab Facilitates Earwax Removal - Designed by InventHelp Client (LAX-819)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) May 31, 2017 -- An inventor from Simi Valley, Calif., recently got hearing aids, and he began to think about earwax buildup. This prompted him to come up with a better way of removing earwax before it becomes a problem. "I’ve observed that conventional cotton swabs collect earwax on the sides, but their tips are actually plugs, and therefore push earwax deeper into the ear canal," he said. "The answer to that drawback is my idea."
The patent-pending E-Tips is a special swab that enables a user to remove excess earwax in a healthier, more efficient manner. Because of its hollow center, it prevents wax from being pushed farther into the ear canal, which can avoid cerumen impaction or worse, infection. It promotes better ear health.
Serving as a more effective alternative to conventional cotton swabs, the modified swab is compact, ergonomic, easy to use and producible in design variations.
