Inventor and InventHelp Client Develops Fishing-Rod Carrier (CLT-1015)
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) June 03, 2014 -- Fishing should be a comfortable and relaxing pastime, but it can be anything but if one has to fuss with rods and reels before they can actually cast away. To solve this problem, an inventor from Oakboro, N.C., created a prototype for the patent-pending FISHIN CADDY.
The unique device offers a more convenient way to transport fishing rods and is an on location stand/holder as you fish. The accessory ensures that rods and lines do not get tangled. The unit saves time and effort, and eliminates hassles and frustrations. The invention also is usable to secure a fishing rod in position. Additionally, it makes fishing trips more fun and enjoyable.
The inventor's personal experience inspired the idea. "I love to fish, but I was tired of walking from my truck to my fishing spot, and then having to spend the next 15 minutes untangling my lines," he said. "Also, my reels are expensive, and I do not want them getting scratched."
The original design was submitted to the Charlotte office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
