The FISHING CAP is being submitted by InventHelp to applicable companies for their review.

An inventor from Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, has created a prototype of a device that facilitates pipe installation. "I’ve specialized in high-rise residential plumbing for 10 years," he said, "so I’m aware of the frustration caused by struggling to fish cross-linked polyethylene water pipes." In order to solve this problem, he conceived of his design.

The patent-pending FISHING CAP eases the installation of a cross-linked polyethylene water pipe. It eliminates having to double up and slice pipe ends to a point, which saves time, effort and labor. It also prevents contamination, which promotes potable water. Ergonomic and easy to use, it's ideal for plumbing contractors.

The original design was submitted to the Toronto office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
