InventHelp Inventor Designs a Better, Safer Way for Lead and Following Drivers to Travel Together (HLW-1643)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) October 07, 2016 -- Have you ever tried to follow a relative or friend while driving to the same destination and found that it’s quote difficult to keep up due to other drivers getting in the way? This happens because the other drivers have no way of knowing the situation, so their normal driving and heeding of road rules become impediments to the following driver.
Whether he or she knows exactly where to go or not, the lead driver is always under pressure to slow down, anticipate lane changes, check the rearview mirror and pull to the roadside to wait for the following driver to catch up. In other words, the lead driver drives for two people. The following driver’s pressure causes him or her to speed up, change lanes with little caution, speed around other vehicles, etc. This creates a dangerous environment on the road, and it can be confusing to other drivers.
Inspired by his own trouble while following his father and realizing the danger of trying to keep up, an inventor from Miami, Fla., designed the patent-pending FOLLOWER LIGHT. This invention provides a more convenient and safer way to follow another driver to a destination. It prevents the following driver from falling too far behind and losing track of the lead driver. It also eliminates the need to exceed the speed limit, make erratic lane changes and disregard safe spacing between vehicles. Since it helps avoid accidents, injuries, fatalities and damage, it promotes comfort and peace of mind.
