Inventor and InventHelp Client Develops Wheelchair Accessory (FRO-402)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) October 07, 2016 -- "My friend is 88 years old and uses a wheelchair," said an inventor from Merced, Calif. "The foot rests on the wheelchair are no good, so he suffers a lot of pain. I wanted to ease his pains by ensuring that he had proper foot support, which led me to develop this wheelchair accessory."
He created a prototype for the FOOT COMFORT to comfortably support the feet. The height-adjustable design accommodates individuals of all sizes. The accessory enables the individual sitting in the wheelchair to relax. It also prevents feet from contacting the ground while the chair is in motion. The unit alleviates aches and pains, and it is adaptable for use with virtually any wheelchair. Furthermore, the invention is lightweight, portable, easy to apply, easy to store and hassle-free.
The original design was submitted to the Fresno office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
