InventHelp® Client Develops Dryer Vent to Warm Basements/Laundry Rooms (BTM-2321)
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) November 16, 2016 -- An inventor from Baltimore, Md., wanted a way to warm the interior of his laundry room with air from an electric dryer. As such, he designed the patent-pending Foy Venting System – a duct assembly that directs air from an electric dryer into a home’s interior.
The Foy Venting System allows a homeowner to vent air from an electric dryer either to the outside of his home, or to its interior to warm a laundry room or basement. This enhances comfort during periods of cold weather and reduces energy consumption, which saves money. The system includes a mesh filter to trap lint, which helps keep a laundry room clean and free of airborne irritants.
The inventor developed this idea when the vent pipe from his dryer broke. “Air from the dryer escaped into my basement and warmed my laundry room,” said the inventor. “I thought a venting system could be designed to direct warm air from an electric dryer’s vent into a laundry room. This would keep the room warm and comfortable during periods of cold weather, which would enhance comfort.”
The original design was submitted to the Baltimore office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
