"I had to wrap a large gift, and I did not have any wrapping paper available," said an inventor from Perth Amboy, N.J. "All that I had was a plastic table cloth. I thought about it, and then realized that a plastic film that could be decorated would be a great way to wrap gifts."
She developed the Fun Wrap by the Yard to provide a quicker, more efficient way to wrap gifts. The invention saves time and effort, and eliminates hassles and frustrations. The design allows the appearance of the wrapped gift to be customized and personalized for the receiver. It can be educational for children and features an eco-friendly design. Furthermore, it is usable for any and all gift-giving occasions.
The original design was submitted to the New Jersey office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
