InventHelp® Client Invents Sun Shield for GPS Units in Motor Vehicles (AVZ-1210)
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) August 31, 2015 -- With the growing popularity of global positioning system (GPS) technology, it’s difficult to find a motorist who doesn’t rely on it for directions. However, it’s not uncommon for sun glare to block out the image on the display screens of the portable models. Fortunately, an inventor from Beaufort, S.C., has found a way to solve that problem.
He developed a prototype for G P Shade to keep sun glare off the display screens of GPS devices and smartphones. As such, it allows the driver to read the screen of a GPS or smartphone even in bright sunlight. Therefore, it promotes safety on the highway by keeping the driver from being distracted by trying to read through the glare. What’s more, this novel idea makes it a unique gift for anyone who drives. It also reduces stress and wasted time associated with being lost or late for an appointment. In addition, it is convenient, effective and affordably priced. Finally, its simple design minimizes production costs
The inventor’s personal experience inspired the idea. “While I was driving, the sun was shining on my GPS. I didn’t like having to shield it with my hand so I could read what was on the screen,” he said.
The original design was submitted to the Pittsburgh office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
