InventHelp, one of America's largest invention firms, is submitting the GASOLINE PROTECTIVE BAG to companies for their review.

An inventor, from Markleysburg, Pa., thought there needed to be a safer way to transport 5-gallon gas cans home from the filling station, so he invented the patent-pending GASOLINE PROTECTIVE BAG.

The GASOLINE PROTECTIVE BAG provides a more effective way to transport filled 5-gallon gas cans. In doing so it helps to prevent gas spills and leaks and it eliminates annoying and nauseating gas odors. As a result, it enhances safety. The invention features a reusable design that is convenient and easy to use so it is ideal for motorists and homeowners. It also helps transport kerosene or diesel fuel safely while eliminating the long-lasting odors that result from spillage on interior carpeting.

It greatly reduces the possibility of explosion due to spillage resulting from a collision or sudden stopping of a vehicle, or from ignition of fumes by static electricity caused by movement on interior carpeting in a truck or SUV, thus saving lives. It allows for safer carrying of a gallon of gasoline or diesel fuel to use in an emergency situation when the risk of running out of fuel is present. Additionally, the GASOLINE PROTECTIVE BAG is producible in design variations.

The inventor described the invention design. “My design offers a more effective way to contain gasoline spills and odors inside the car.”

The original design was submitted to the National Sales Office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
