"Our 14-year-old son suffers from chronic heel pain, which is exacerbated by sports activities," said one of two inventors from Burlington, Ontario, Canada. "In order to relieve him of his discomfort and pain, we invented a pair of shock-absorbing socks."
They created a prototype for the patent-pending GEAL SOCKS to offer improved balance, comfort and support. The socks minimize the impact on the heels, especially when running, jumping, etc. This reduces pain and strain on the feet, and lessens the risk of suffering an injury. Furthermore, the socks provide added support to the ankles as well.
