Parents of infants and children are accustomed to large laundry loads. However, having to presoak and wash clothing stained with diaper leakage presents even more of a challenge. Fortunately, thanks to an inventor from Wilmington, Del., help is on the way.
She developed a prototype for GRACIE MAY T’S to protect a baby’s skin against discomfort and irritation. As such, it not only prevents diaper leakage onto clothing and other surfaces but also eliminates the need for a drool bib. As a result, it promotes sanitary conditions. Furthermore, it affords peace of mind for travel with infants and children. It, therefore, make a great baby gift. Also, it is convenient, comfortable and safe. In addition, its simple design minimizes production costs.
The inventor’s personal experience inspired the idea. “While on a 3 1/2-hour flight with my four-month old daughter, I needed to change her diaper five minutes into the flight. However, I could not do so until we reached cruising altitude, after the diaper had leaked its contents onto her clothes and mine. This idea protects both child and parent from such discomfort and mess,” she said.
The original design was submitted to the Dallasoffice of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
