A Pittsburgh-based inventor firm, InventHelp is submitting the HARD CASE to appropriate companies for their consideration.

Whether it’s construction industry workers or those who undertake those do-it-yourself projects themselves, it’s difficult to get the job done without the appropriate tools and materials on site. Thanks to an inventor from Uniondale, N.Y., there is now a quick and easy way to transport those essentials.

He developed HARD CASE to provide a portable carrier for tools and other materials used on construction sites. As such, it eliminates the need to make repeated trips to and from the job site to pick up tools and other essentials. Other uses would include storage space for office supplies or a container to transport picnic items. Furthermore, it affords a support for cutting and drilling wood, metal and other materials. At the same time, it is sturdy enough to support at least 300 pounds. It is, therefore, ideal for standing on and sitting on. What’s more, it is easily stored in the home, office or a car trunk. It is also convenient, lightweight and affordably priced. In addition, it is easy to move and saves time and effort.

The invention is perfect for use in hospitals, nursing homes, apartment buildings, private dwelling homes and any setting where tools and materials have to be transported quickly and easily to complete a job. It eliminates time-consuming and repeated trips for tools and materials. It can be easily carried on elevators, escalators and on staircases. It comes with a padlock for security reasons. All in all, it is a very rugged, versatile toolbox that can be used in almost any work environment.

The inventor’s work history inspired the idea. “While working as a plumber, I found this idea allowed me to carry tools and other materials I needed for the job, thus reducing the amount of time required to complete the work,” he said.

The original design was submitted to the Long Island office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
